The location and timings have now been finalised for the Canterbury Regional Finals. A huge thank you to Barry and our students for their continued dedication and hard work, we are really proud of you all. Please ensure you read the following information carefully with your parents/caregivers, so you are up to speed with all relevant tournament details.
Wednesday 20th October 2021 (two games) and Thursday 21st October 2021 (one game)
Hagley Polo grounds – All Heaton games are played on artificial pitches pitch #2a and #3a)
Game Start Times:
Morning games commence at 9.30am and afternoon games at 1.30pm
Finish Time (Thursday):
The second game on Wednesday is expected to finish at approx. 4:00pm. Students can be collected by their parents/caregivers directly from the venue at this time, or students can be transported back to Heaton. If you do collect your daughter from the venue, please ensure you sign out with the Heaton staff member before leaving, and If you have made plans for your daughter to be collected by another adult please communicate this with Tim Evers via email.
Students are required to meet at the Heaton flagpole at 8:00am on both competition days. Students should arrive at school in their full cricket uniform (Heaton playing top, white trousers and Heaton cap), and will be transported to and from the venue in our two Heaton vans.
Injuries / Availability:
If you have any injury concerns, sickness or you cannot participate on either Wednesday or Thursday, please make contact with both Mr. Evers and Barry asap via email.
- All personal cricket equipment e.g. pads, bat, gloves
- Full Cricket Uniform (please wear this to school on both days)
- Heaton cricket warm up top
- Water bottle
- Packed lunch with plenty of healthy snacks (no chewing gum, fizzy drinks etc.)
- All relevant personal medication e.g. EpiPen, Ventolin etc.
